Just finished (except for interior) my bone stock 1955 Chevy 2 door post complete with 235 Blue Flame 6 Banger. The TEXAS car was in such great shape that I did not have the swingers to cut it. The radio even worked. I just blew the dust off of it and wiped down the tubes. About 7 of them in fact. One Walmart speaker and instant AM moldy oldies to go! Thats right mousketeers back as it ever was. I will save the flat black and torch opportunity for future generations. We cant cut em all uall!

Before.... were pre me on computer. Seafoam bottom and white roof. Oil let go all over the engine compartment. The only time I ever heard it run is when it was pulled into the garage in 1993. I broke it down immediately.

That's a gorgeous car...My dad has been searching for the "right" '55 ever since I could remember, and I think they are the best looking out of the tri-5's personally.

Remember when we used to pass those Bel Aire's up because they were too heavy? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm glad that there are a few being saved in stock form. We're going to need a reference after the last one is cut up. the '55 2dr Belair has always been my favorite tri-five.
