MUD is how I found the HAMB. I was searching for other 50's Plymouths on the web and found his site.

I actually emailed Chris a couple of times about stuff and he seemed like a really cool guy.

Kinda mixed emotions, he was good, but he was also bad, and to be fair, I don't think he really would tolerate the 'current day' HAMB.

Even alot of the 'popular' HAMBers from days of old have gone quiet, by their own choice.......

For example, I'd love to hear from Harlen, is he still alive? Even Germ is 'tame' these days (when compared to days long gone......).

Note: this is not a sledge at the HAMB, or Ryan, just a observation. Something to consider.

Yeah the Hamb got squeaky clean. we don't bust the newbies balls anymore. no more pictures of mud drivin his 4x4 camero. Harlens I dont think he has a computer or internet anymore. I was at his shop a couple weeks ago. Next time Im there I'll take some pictures and post them. I think it was more fun back in the day and more cool tech with a nice sense of humor all rolled together. sometimes I dont feel like Im sittin in a garage shootin the shit with my buddies anymore. oh well things grow. The new hambs still good just a little crowded sometimes. I think if we brought the newbie hazing back it we could regulate the growth of none car people. Thats my opinion though.

Not to be Rude to you Gracie, but I really dont give a shit. I never read much he wrote as I found it kinda useless. I do remember his on hand camera kinda nice to post picts of aboniminations. Nothign against the guy, I just didnt find much he had to say of much value. I dont watch soap operas either.

But then again, I try to not click on of topic posts that dont have interesting titles (I did click on the "Got Stye" just cause I kinda wanted to see). I also try to not perputate stupid posts by NOT reposonding with the usual "Why did you post this?" Or "Dont post this" Which just pertuates them even longer then ignoring would.

This isnt my house, I just visit. I personally dont care, I can continue not reading his posts wether he is posting them or not.

I've been lurking long enuff that I remember some of his posts (although I didn't come here religiously back then like I do now). I think the HAMB has been getting along just fine w/o him. Its kind of hipocritical to me having a guy w/no real interest in trad rods & customs ripping newbees. The newbees as least have some interest in what this site is about. Nothing personal against him- he may feed the homeless in his spare time for all I know. But like Ryans post said- there's already enuff people not into cars on this site. Just my opinion.
