I have been reading this board for a long time and figured I would join and post up.
I am a typical hillbilly living in the mountains of western PA and am a fan of older trucks especially 48-52 f-1's.
I drive a "1952" f-1 that I put together last year.
I pieced it together using spare parts form my 1948 "resoration"
It has an 1950 cab and bed and a 1952 front clip. Please excuse the primer and red wheels.. I will be painting the truck red once I get all the body work done on it.
here is a pic of the exterior and the interior.

I put it together all stock except for the drivetrian, I built a stroked 351 windsor (393) for it, have a built c4 and a mid 60's ford f-100 rear axle in it. I managed to get everyhting installed with only haveing to drill 8 holes in the frame so I can and may put the flathead back in it in the future.
here is a pic of the OT engine...

Here is what I started with, I found it in a field while in college with 60's jeep drivetrain, a frame that was butchered and broke in 3 places and more rust that a project vehicle should have.

I am also in the process of building a 1948 f-1, I am putting it together all stock with the exception of using a mildly built 255 merc flathead instead of a 239 ford flatty. it is a good many years off from completion.
Here is a pic of if when I got it... it is currently a bare frame in the garage with parts everywhere.
