WHICH fifties? The top tail fins/taillights are at least 1960 Caddy...the pointy taillights on the bottom are '59 Caddy...maybe it was originally started in the fifties and finished in the sixties!

FWIW, it's butt ugly from the rear....hahahahahahhahaha!!!

Florida....
Does that explain anything? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Actually I gotta hand it to Floridans.
At least there's a great number of them have always tried to make something "custom", and not just bolted on more shiny crap and called it custom.

Studedude - I have to agree, it is butt ugly from the rear. But, for some reason the more I look at it the more I like it, and that is not good, because I really start to doubt that I have any taste what so ever!

60's fins and 50's kit - this could be a project gone awry and lost in storage.

I remember the first Victress from all the magazines back in the 50's, and after checking the links above, I remember the next couple of versions, too. But I NEVER saw the version you're asking about. Looks like Barris's confused, no-talent nephew tried to turn a Victress into a Batmobile in the middle of a Mad Dog-and-reefer weekend. Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that.
