Subscribed Threads ?? Folders?? What Do I do?

I was thinking about saving some threads and went to the thread tools and to subscribed threads. I found all kinds of old threads in there, I never had any idea that any thread that I replied to or started would be saved. How do I get rid of these. The main heading is Subscribed threads in a folder. To remove a folder, the directions says Remove folders from list.

What do I do so the thread I start or reply to is not saved somewhere?

What is a folder? Supposedly I have one folder???, but don't know what the name is. How do I get rid of all these threads? There are only a small amount I want to save. Thanks

See the check box to the right of each thread you are subscribed too? Check the ones you want to delete, scroll down to the bottom and select "delete" in the drop down menu... If you want to auto check them all, click the check box on the very top of the list...

Scroll down to the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" section and make sure that drop down has "don not subscribe" selected...
