Just got off the phone with Gary and the rest of the story is that those weights went into Richard Glymph's brother's 56 Chevy to lower it.

Say hi to Gary and Mary for me next time you see him.

And whoever sees Richard, ask him how you lower the front of a Corvair that you have to stop quick in.
