Where would one find a good source for some genuine Astro Supreme's ? I've got another wild idea in my head that may actually be feasable. We will see...
Tire suggestions with Astro's ?

Any links ?

Here is what they will go on...

astro rims should be more or lees 100$ each at your local "americas tire" or "discount tire" retailer.

I was hoping they wouldnt be too expensive....$100 a rim sounds reasonable.

Now my interest is peaked. Eager to see what Astro's will look like on that early a year of Buick.

Astros is the look I want after looking into them a little more.

Most people seem to use skinny whites on them though...how good do you think some 3inch whites would look with them ? the picture Mai Ki Ki posted is almost the right look.

Repo: I gonna straight be thuggin' it down Paramore Ave. Im gonna get some 22" spree spinning rims. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Seriously I think astros are the way to go on the ride.

Poncho what size rims and tires are on that ? What width whitewalls are those ? 3''?

I'm seeing some of those NASCAR style rims with a big Chevy emblem in the back window enclosing the text "350 powered" (complimented by the obligitory "Calvin peeing on Ford" and "No Fear" stickers), and a TAZ mural on the trunk. And maybe a smokey & the bandit Trans-Am style screaming chicken hood with a shaker scoop!

C'mon Justin, give those California guys yet another reason to envy our style.

Skinny whites say "Sixties"! A car the size of yours needs 3" wide whites...

i would say it could look cool if done right. however i think skylark wires with wide whites would look better on that car. i'm lookin' for a set to replace the supremes on my '64 buick right now. so if you know of a set of skylark wires i'd be willing to do a trade with ya. missed aset a while back on egay. i may be willing to part with my supremes anyhow. even though they've been on the car for a coupla years they are basicly brand new they have cooper thin whites on 'em with probably less than 1000 miles. i'm tryin to get shit together for my 55 plymouth and the buick is on the back burner to be redone when i finish the plymouth. i really like my supremes, but maybe cloning a car from the mid 60s next go round so. i guess i'm still a little far for you also but if your interested let me know and i'll think on it some more...ken....

Well this is the deal...
Due to some smart thinking on my Insurance provider, I am saving nearly $80 a month on insurance. Therefor this should put me in line for some Astro's and Wide Wides for myself for Christmas.

I could pull it thug style and go to a "rent a wheel place" and pay twice the amount for them at a cheap, convenient monthly rate. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Then again credit like that is why i am digging myself out of debt at the moment. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was suggested MOON just to see but there site doesnt have them listed although according to a friend they are in the catalog. So 2 nights of searching the internet and nothing that I am really looking for yet.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Well, im stumped, post me some links.

If you go with the Astros where are you going to live? You have to know by now that "O-town Smoothies" are the offical wheel of Orange County. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I checked on the rent a wheel to buy though but they deal only with rim style that runn more than 2000 w tires, so the make off with the interest. just save up and buy then

allied wheel company is who make the for the imperial guy which is the person who owns the oringinal castings and shit. mine came from him in allied wheel boxes. go to there website and there is a dealer locater on there. they will be way cheaper that way than ordering them from him. i have givin some consideration to becoming a dealer for them and just shipping them to buyers as the imperial guy does. haven't got everything worked out yet i got to much other shit going on right now, but if your thinking more towards end of the year first of next year i may be able to help you out. things should slow down a bit for me in november and i'll probably look into a little more then. pooring all my free time and cash into getting the plymouth painted by goodguys charlotte and maybe trying to get all the other bugs worked out in time to try to make the turkey run, but that probably won't happen so i'm focusing on paint by goodguys the most...ken....

Yep... I took a passing glance at them before I decided I was too cheap and lazy and to just use steel wheels. Because US make 'em, you should be able to get them EVERYWHERE! Even Summit and Jegs and such (Summit actually is so damn big at this point they can get their prices down really good... They'd probably be the cheapest).
