I've only been posting for less tha a month but have screwed myself (shot my own foot) a couple of times. Really don't have any more toes to spare.
#1 Let people know that if they create a thread & try to attach a photo/or any other attachment to turn popup-blocker off or their ISP blocks their seeing that the attachment may>???? have occurred. I retyped something 3 times before I saw the icon that said image rejected (ya dumb but hey!!!@)
#2 Search really works well !!!! I use the search -members to determine who is sending me PM's & what their profile is? yes paranoid but I've been burned in street rodding for over $100,000 in 30 years & have set my own prejudices. I do use it for people who have used it for postings of a certian set of parameters, (latham, stromberg, halibrand QC, Lincoln, etc..works like magic) Hamb is the best I've ever seen but alot of fakes are here from E-bay & it's not the best world "over there" sorry but that is the internet & people must be cautious. I do have problems searching for my old cohorts in SE Michigan and have had problems searching for members by state. Any thoughts on some type of online search tutorial/help page?
