Anyone know what the Rocco and Cheaters shop sign looks like?Sam was gonna send me some decals for my truck but aint got around to it as yet so i may have it sign written...........Marq

The old Rocco and Cheaters sign was just plain but the stickers have a Roth-esque hotrod monster on it... let me go take a pic of the one on my truck... be right back...

Sam is behind due to illness in the family. He is in and out of the shop with no set schedule. Keep calling at the 205 328 5141 tele no. If you need to get a message to him PM me I talk to Sam every other day or so. Every thing is getting better so I think he will be on schedule in the very near future.I hope this helps Bobby..

Well i had a good chat with SAM tonight from England and he's a real nice intelligent guy,had time to chat to me and interesting it was too.Soon as i get accross the water i'm gonna drop in and say hi...............Marq

If you do stop by Rocco & Cheaters, make sure that you have at least 4 hours to spare. The first time I was there Sam told me to go dig around and I spent around 3 hours just pulling boxes off the shelves and digging around. There literlly was stuff that had been un-touched since 52'. And Sam is the nicest guy out there. I am sorry to hear that he is having family health problems.

He still has the old neon Speed Shop sign.R and C Has been in business since 1946 that is 2 years longer than speedy Bill Smith who said on his catalog he is the oldest speed shop.

I've been meaning to call him for ages but I just never get around to it......he's got a little something there that I've been after for a while too Gracie!! I've never used the stickers he sent me. They will only go on a ride I deem worthy!

Before everyone gets worried here I will fill everyone in Sams son broke his arm, wrist while skateboarding. Sams dad had surgery on his knee.so he lost all of his help. I told him it was from those big clutches. I asked him if he had the biggest left leg in Birmingham in the 50s and early 60s.

Thanks for all the info guys n gal(Grace),Sam didnt mention anything about anyone being unwell but if you see him tell him Paul in England wishes everyone all the best.I have to say that Sam has been real nice to me even though he has never met me ,we have had a few conversations and i will visit when i get time as it sounds like a real kool place and would like to meet the guy running it...............Marq

I just got off the telephone with Sam and his dad comes home from the hospital today{3 week stay}. He said he enjoyed talking to marq and that you were having a postal strike or problem. He said he sent out items 3 weeks ago, Marq if you do come to visit give us advance warning and I will come to R and C and visit. only 100 miles or approx 180 km short trip..

I will let everyone know when i come over,i have always wanted to go to Alabama especially Birmingham and Mobile so when i do come over it will time to PARTY if all you Alabama Hambas are up to it.But if any of you hambas are coming over to the uk let me know and perhaps i can show you some hospitality.............Marq
