Raven and I bought this on ebay and I figured I'd share the wealth.
It's a fun read, one of these days when I get about 10 of my other projects done I might actually get to build it. I can see it now built up and on a vintage style trailer behind my 53.
Low rez version for online viewing. (http://www.mongosgarage.com/racer/DirtTrackRacer100.pdf)

Higher rez version if you wanna print it. (http://www.mongosgarage.com/racer/DirtTrackRacer200.pdf)

Enjoy,

GREAT STUFF! Saved it for a future project - lets see looks like 2010 will be free to do her!

Those plans are really cool. It also seems like they'd adapt decently to building something simple for the street, like a T.

KCMONGO, Thanks for posting that item, I've never seen that info. The other set of instructions was published by Ray Kuns in the 1930's. There are five editions of his "Automobile Racing" that he came out, with all have different color covers. They are a bit pricy now if you are lucky to find them. Best thing to do is buy a copy of the reprints that came out in the late 1970's. Nice to know that there are early dirt car fans on this list.

Ment to say this before anybody have some pics of similar cars, please post them, I'll add em to my inspiration collection.
I was thinking these plans could be used for wider vehicle's like a roadster, anybody have any ideas of the legalities of a vehicle like this on the streets? I'm sure you'd have to add lights, 4 wheel brakes and such.

37Kid do you have said copies of the Ray Kuns editions? or have an idea where I could get copies at least on a loan, I could copy and PDF them.

Thanks much, I printed out a copy to keep. Fun reading and also some good ideas to consider applying to other vehicles.

Looks like a very neat project. I'm going to build mine along side Levi Classic but I'm not sure I'll be ready by 2010.:)

I printed this months ago and gave a copy to builder Dan Webb. He's got volumes of old books, manuals, etc. and says this id the coolest one in his collection.

For anyone living in Florida, the Zepher Hills swap meet and car show (held twice a year) has a little bull-ring dirt track, and they let guys come out in vintage cars and run them for three days.
The group that runs their cars has several other events throughout the year.
An absolute BLAST to watch these guys run!

A fella from Fargo scratch-built this one about 15 years ago. It was quite simple. I saw it for sale at a swap meet on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds a few years ago.
