New Canadian

Just found this site recently while I was looking for parts. Always been interested in old cars, favorites are the 30's and 40's styles. Hence why a few years ago I purchased a 32 Chev bodied (original metal) car to race in the Canadian Vintage Modifieds. Now have a 36 Dodge body as well. Eventually want to build a street rod and reading the threads here have my mind churning with ideas. Looking to learn more from the members and threads here.

Welcome, Mike. I saw the Canadian Vintage Modifieds race at Kalamazoo Speedway back in the mid-90's....bitchin' cars and an excellent show !

Thanks for the welcome. Last summer the CVM's were at Springport and Spartan to run with a sister club in Michigan, the VROA. A few of the Canadian runners get down every year to race with them at the 'ZOO and the other tracks.

The cars do look great and sound awesome with the straight 6's we run. That's why I got involved!
