Hey Lucky,
I don't know where you can buy it, but if you need to scratch that itch you might try Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. The Blockbuster and Hollywood Video in my 'hood each has a copy to rent. Maybe you'll luck out and yours will have a copy too. Hope this helps...........Layta E

Cool movie! I've seen it at the show about 5 times. Never have seen it available on video. Has it been available before?

donnie,
what up. how's baggin' the olds comin'? thanks for the tip. did you try to build a grille for the olds yet. was actually meaning to get up with you lately. what was your 'flake hook up? i'm beatin' my brains out tryin to figure out how i'm gonna spray the plymouth and the buick. i go back and forth on what i want to do alot. the plymouth will be metallic lilac body with a darker purple for the top with a crazy scallop job of course. haven't decided on the darker color yet. the car is for my wife and she hints that she likes the color on the grapevine so maybe something similar. as for the buick i'm thinking a nice organic green for the body but can't decide what color to do the top. played with some green from the newer saturns with some pearls and got some ideas. considered spraying the body that color and fogging the body lines for a little shift and doing a silver or gold heavy flaked roof with scallops in body color for the roof. any opinions? the saturn color i'm talking about is that weird organic olive greenish color forget what they call it. been stuck on fucking with some of the newer car color lately. have had some crazy ideas about using pearls and flake to make 'em do crazy shit. maybe use some of the ice pearls i don't know. had a chance to mess with your stuff lately?...ken....

Lownslow, not to change the subject, but since it's already heading in a different direction, I've got a couple of questions regarding HOK paint that maybe you could answer since it sounds like you've used it quite a bit.

Can the pearls listed on page 1 be done as a 2 step process instead of 3? Can they put the pearl in the basecoat? The reason I'm asking is I need to make sure that I use a paint that easy to touch up and I've been told I should stick to a basecoat/clearcoat system.

What do you think? Which of their colors have you strayed and did the color look exactly like you expected? I was thinking of one of their copper metallics but I really like one of the blue-grey pearls as well. I'm so confused...... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Hey Ken,

I'm always here, I just don't post much these days. Sounds like you're project poor right now. Me too! The paint schemes you are talking about sound nice!

I still have the truck, but the bed has alot of rust. I can't find one around here that isn't way too much money, or more beat than the one on my truck. So, it seems to be getting pushed back further and further. I also picked up a '68 Ford wagon back in January. I started doing bodywork and shaving, but I just can't seem to get into that car. I guess that I bought it because the price was too good, but, looking back I should've passed. I can see it with a 'flake top, solid pearl bottom with lots of Watson style freeway scallops. Oh yeah, it has to be slammed with some Astros or painted rims with Spiders and rings. Oh well, we'll see what happens. I'm actually thinking of re-doing the paint on my Buick before I head out to Paso in a few weeks. I just can't decide what to do. I should probably stay home, sell my truck and the wagon and sock some money away. Oh what the hell, what fun would that be, eh?

Good hearin' from you dude.........................Layta E
