I had not been at Dewey for more than ten minutes when Chris (sodbuster) and his dad came over to visit. Chris said he had something for me at the car and presented me with a brand new Mack 000 striping brush. Said he had been watching my stuff on the HAMB and had an extra, so, if I didn't have one already it was mine. Thanks again Chris, Totally unexpected and very appreciated. Some damned fine folks hang out here!

I think as a general rule that HAMB people are the friendliest and most helpful creatures I've run into. They are also some of the most generous folks an the planet.

that's great to hear GV, we stripers need all the encouragement we can get. I know I have given away a number of swords over the years to budding up and coming striper types.

Does this mean we'll start seeing more of your work, G.V.? I hope so, I like the style of your striping. It is very unique.

No problem at all there George. I thought that I would give it to you, since you started out with Testors brushes. I think that was you?

We may be making a trip back to Dewey in the next couple of weeks. I met a guy that had an old roundy-round 3 window coupe that he built back in the 50's and still has it in a barn. I asked how much (couple hundred) and proceeded to write down his phone number and build in my head all the way back home.

Damn I missed ya, I really wanted to say hey and check out your work. I guess I missed ya somewhere along the road to drunkville. I wish I had've met more of the Hamb folk and spent less time with MR.Papst. I did however get to see MR. Myers working and damn I have a new hero. He worked so.....I don't know ..unrestricted...just kindof knew what he wanted to do..and floated over it so smoothly.....Damn Kool Kat that Ron Myers....oops I kindof hijacked your post sorry.
