Nope, it isn't in the Smithsonian, not yet anyway. I think it is still at the House of Cash.
The funny part is that the other side only has 2 doors.

I guess the guy that built it would call up the junkyards and ask if they had old Cadillac parts. When they'd ask what he was looking for and from what, he said "Anything you have."

someone posted a different pic a few months back, first time I ever saw it. They said that the guy built it and tried to give it to Johnny but he wouldnt take it for free so he arranged to do a few concerts local to the builder in exchange for the car.

Yeah, he did one or two concerts for the guy's club, I want to say it was a church group so they could build a new church or repair it, or something. There was a website with that info on it somewhere.
