I'm building a new fuel tank today for the shoebox and I'm installing one of those trick sending units with no moving parts http://centroidproducts.com/ problem is they have a standard SAE 5 hole mounting flange but I don't have an old one to measure from and can't find a diagram on the web. The company's web site says what the circle is but not the spacing, all it says is that it is not symmetrical. If anyone has this info or knows where I can get it I would really appreciate the help.

I have tanks here but I do not know how to get the information to you. My experience is that most tanks up into at least the 50's used this type sender. If you can find and old tank or sender, you could make a pattern. Maybe you could get a sender gasket at a local auto parts store. I think they might stock these as lots of aftermarket senders are made for these flanges. The one store I use here is able to provide me with lots of things that you would not expect them to carry. The trick is finding the right counterman who will help you.
