Can anyone tell me any information on this car?? I met the owner last weekend at the Hot Rod Hoedown in Wilmington, DE. He knows that the car was built in CA in the mid-50's and brought to PA some time after that. It has a hot flathead, the body is fiberglass and is in pretty much the condition as built. It is an awesome vehicle and "Spike" shot it for an upcoming feature in CKD.........

The Buick side trim isn't the only clue to this car's heritage. The styling appears to have been heavily influenced by an early-'50s Buick concept car that from memory was designed by Harvey Earl and named the Wildcat. It shouldn't be too hard to dig up a picture of that car, and it would be interesting to be able to compare the two cars' similarities.

The fiberglass-bodied Buick Wildcat, designed by Harvey Earl, made its debut at the 1953 General Motors Motorama in New York City.
Can someone please post a picture of it? Thanks.

Here's a '53 Wildcat 1
However, the 1951 LeSabre may have been more of an influence - that's Harley at the wheel.
