I scored some old zenith carbs, 94's and a stromberg 48 at an auction this weekend and this came in the box with em but I don't have any idea what it is. Can anyone id it?
The brass tag says ZENITH Detroit Mich. USpat DEC29-08 JUN27-16

Maybe something for an old stationary engine? Tha bob weight thingie looks like part of a governor. That gnarly wiring makes me wonder if those two dash-pot looking thingies are actually solenoids! First "feed-back"carb?? WEIRD http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

looks like an old generator carb.

I would say that it's a tractor carb

One lung make and break engine. Solenoids gave it a gas shot when needed, acted as on-off switch.
Might be as valuable as the Strombergs to a 1 lung collector.
