with enough metal left on the rust to make it buildable?I'm thinking about sellin one of the bikes and doing the car thing again.I loved my shoebox but it felt like a boat,to a scrawny guy like me.

Price will really vary on the individual quaility of each car. Two rusty shells can still really vary. And how complete it is.

Without the rear trunk section... oh, about $1200 with doors... with the trunk section and a deck lid... about $3000 or so.
These are California prices, as per the swap meets I've attended this year.
Sam.
I paid $250.00 for this front of a touring at a local swap a couple months ago.
Um, they stopped making them over 70 years ago and they get more and more rare every year. And as supply goes down, the price goes up.
Buy the time you add in the doors I payed $1500.00 with the patch panels in and finished. I spent the next year looking for a turtle. I finally found a bunch of parts to build one in Himmings, with what I payed for the parts and repair and building it, I've got $1500.00 in the deck. So I guess anything close to $3 Grand is prolly in the circle.--TV http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
$500 will get you a shelled out rusty midwest T. For something that is not Hammered, 2k seems to be the going rate in these parts.

These folks have a decent inventory at most times with fair prices.

Since I am building a 27 Touring and helped with a couple others I can tell you a couple things. All 26/27s will need lower patch panels! Due to the way that the panels are crimped over the subrails they all seem to rot. Also, doors seem to be an issue, I have collected 10 doors in my quest for 4 that would be repairable. When it comes to decklids, just buy new, I have not seen a good steel roadster declid in several years.
