found this through some search engine... thought it was very cool..I have loved old cars ever since I was young... b/c of my dad. Growing up he had 3 '65-66 Mustangs... in fact got my drivers licence with one!! Still my favorite.. hope to own a 65 Mustang convertible. But, for now I will settle for being owner of Hot Rod Girl (http://www.thehotrodgirl.com) Custom auto accessories for all those hot rods and street rods. I will have to live out my dreams through all of you that are working on your cars!!!

It doesn't really matter if the HAMB sees more involvement from hot rod pioneers, racing engine builders, race car chassis builders, sheet metal magicians, Bonneville racers, nostalgia drag racers, racing sanctioning body board members, drag strip owners, SEMA members, SAE members, metallurgists, aerodynamicists, automotive historians, or talented automotive artists. What we really need is more HAMBers who don't even put their name in their profile, trying to sell us fuzzy dice and lakes pipes that are probably made in China.

There's nothing wrong with mustangs... although the smaller body style of the 65-66's are a bit pussylike (except the 2+2's, they are nice). I love my 68 GT convertible with the HiPo 289... it was my 1st car and I will never sell it... even though my fucking ex blew it apart and then left me and it.... and its still in pieces. I mean tell me, why the hell would you remove the original windshield to install new floor pans? I will never let a boyfriend work on my cars ever again. What a terrible lesson learned.

Oh, I got off the point there (embarrassed laugh)... anyway, I hate shit made in China. I'll always pay more for stuff that is made in the US... and I always look to see where stuff is made! Just doing my little part.

I know Mustangs ain't traditional hot rods, but they were in all the Hot Rod mags and other titles during the mid-sixties as part of the first wave of funny cars and factory stockers; light car + big/fast engine = shag nasty drag racer!
