Grant makes a horn button that looks like it would work on that type of wheel. Your local speed shop should be able to get one.

How about mounting a horn button somewhere else, like on the dash or something?

could do that. was thinking maybe somebody sold a ring that'd fit under the retaining bolts that would hold the spring, etc and that a button would snap onto. maybe wishful thinking.

I'll check that out. think you can get mooneyes caps for the grant wheels too, just wasn't sure they'd work.

you'll never get a horn button on that unless your column has a grounding wire coming up through the center of it. Then you'll need a button that grounds and completes the circuit so the horn will honk. Best place for the horn button is on the wheel -- but this is one of the great challenges of hot rod building -- how to get a ground wire on a shaft that turns 'round and 'round. There's another horn post going on now...

my dad ran a horn button under the steering column when the one on his 64 chevy truck broke... 1" red, round button. it worked and was pretty hidden...
