I was taking this guy back to work after he droppped a car off at our shop. He works at C&M tires. We started talking about what wheels they can get and what not and I ask about wide whites. He told me they send any tires out to a guy and he uses some sort of heating method to put anything up to 3" of white walls on. He said they are smooth and don't have a ridge like a ground down tire does. There was a bit of a language barrier since I can't speak spanish and this guy was struggling with english. So... If anyone in this area is looking to have some WWWs made, you might want to see what they can do. They have something like 14 stores around the metroplex.

from what I understood that's what it sounds like. I wonder how long they stay on haha. He also made a point to say that they still are bright white after the process. He's gonna get me a price tomorrow I'll let ya know.
