It's a nice, warm sunny day here in Northern Illinoiz( about time, although very windy), and as I take a break from striping a few "practice panels" for this Fridays art show, My thoughts turn to Hot Rods.

I know alot of you have already seen thes cars and pics, But there are alot of new members here now and I thought it would be fun to stir up the blood for the upcoming outdoor run and crusin' scene.

So what the hell, here goes:

Nice shots and cars. I added som pics from Tuesday's cruise night here to my fotki site. Sorry about some of them being fuzzy. It was getting late and overcast with gusts to 30/35mph. Naturally I left my tripod home. It's the Cruise Night at Scotty's album. Snowed here today with gusts to 50mph. Nothing like springtime in Idaho. Keep 'em comming.

#1. Here's my most favorite ride. Everytime I see it, I drool and create havoc.

Notice all the cool cars and stuff in the background!

This isn't the greatest shot, I do have better and will digitize soon. It's a little off center too. This car has to be see to be believed. This Model A was very nicely built and detailed. It was period perfect and clean.

Gee, Joel, this almost looks like a plug for the HUNNERT CAR PILEUP (http://www.hunnertcarpileup.com) (Oct. 9, 2004, Grundy Co. Speedway, Morris, IL) http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif since most of those shots are from the 2003 show http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

that striped duece roadster belongs to VTwinn Tommy and all that striping went up in flames... literally... but he repainted it.
