they may not want to reverse the eyes of your main leaf, but rather manufacture a new one to you're needs.

If you are having a Model A rear main leaf done please let me know what they say- I need to have mine done too. Thanks Jim

Hey Jim,

They told me that it should run about $95.00 to fab a complete main leaf for the Model A spring. I asked if they could narrow and reverse an original and the guy said it would be easier to make the main leaf from scratch. Bring in your old one for a pattern and they will take it from there. Hope this helps!

Cool! Are you having one done? Sounds EXACTLY like what I wanted done- ends reversed and narrowed a little to take a some of the height out of it. Was hoping it would lower the rear 3-4 inches. Let me know if you are having one built because I want one too. An entrepenuer would have a few made and sell for a couple extra bucks. The only other option is a Posies $300 unit.

JimA, I saw this done on an Old hotroded A chassis. Whoever
did it removed a leaf or two from the rear, added lever action shocks to make up for leaf removal and reversed the eyes as well as narrowed the eye leaf a tad. It did indeed lower the A rear chassis down considerably. Seeing that was my motivatin for asking questions about this. No need to Z
or pie cut a frame if you just wanna lower it some and retain a highboy look that's not too high. That is what I'm going for. I'll run a 4" dropped axle up front also in the future if and when I get this project going. Sounds like we are thinking alike here lately...hehe later
