i live in a small town, but there are like 4 or 5 dudes with black FLH's around here ,so i wanted to change the looks of my bike some.its a 73(same year as me)but im trying to keep that ol school feel about it. its candy, the metal flake doesnt show well in these pics, but i was wondering what you folks thought about it. i painted it yesterday and put it back together today, the only ones that have seen it are my ol lady and daughter and the guy at the gas station who gave me a thumbs up...you like it? http://members.roadfly.org/samiam/bikla3.JPG http://members.roadfly.org/samiam/bikla1.JPG

bike looks nice. I do wish you would change the little man under you name. Looks like one of those little dolls that drops its pants and takes a wizz. Been watching him for a few minutes. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

greaseball,it looked really cool without the front fender, but the ass end looked kinda dumb with a big long hanging down fender.before i painted it i took off the hinged part of the rear fender, but the fender struts made everything look to busy.
actually,if i keep it and get the money i really want a Paucgho hard tail wishbone frame ,leave off the front fender and a early ford spare tire cover cut down for a rear fender. ..well see, maybe this winter....

That red flake sure changes the attidude of that bike...nice. The tank emblems, are they repops?...and if they are, how do they attatch? I've seen them and was wondering if they screw into a backing plate or just stick them on. Nice bike. Gonna run whitewalls? Ol' skool and all!

DRY COUNTY that means NOO BEER sold here,,,,really sucks, thats the reason so many alcoholics live here, you drive SOO far to get beer, right, then when you get home, you drink it all! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
