Suggestion to set up seperate heading for new people

I have been viewing The H.A.M.B. for going on 2 years or so and I have noticed lately that a new person will come on and attemp a dialog or inquire in the H.A.M.B. and classified sales and before you know it guys jump all over some one and in some cases are just plain assholes about it.
There are a couple things that I would like fellow H.A.M.B. er's to think about and some suggestions.
Thought # 1
There ain't no rules posted about a introduction,and if you don't you'll get your nuts chewed off.
Thought # 2
Some guys are new on computers and don't know the procedure.
( I know I didn't when I came on and I got lucky enough that the guys that night were cool to me and didn't bite my nuts off)
Thought # 3
Intro police ? Why don't you guys suggest more instead of criminalizing the poor bastard when he comes on.
I read some of you guys responses and some off you guys are assholes.

Is it me that some of the original H.A.M.B.er's don't come round anymore like they use to ?

Suggestion to Ryan - if possible
On the main page that lists the H.A.M.B. and classifieds and tech etc. would it be possible to put a heading that said " First time on the H.A.M.B. click here"
when they do, have brief information on who they are, what cars, projects or wants thay have and a little info on where they are from. etc.

Frankly I think it will keep guys pumped on our hobby of cars and watch the H.A.M.B. continue growing.

On a post some months ago, i suggested something along that line and got clobered. guess it's more fun to cut their nut's off than have rules. if you can't beat'em then join'em. besides i do have some fun with the newbee's, every once and awhile my self. gotta keep the jabs in there.
