Well, I finally caught it, this elusive F-100; seen around the area often, really REALLY like its look (the bad resolution pics don't do it justice). I take the camera with me to school in case it'll be on campus, but of course it's only there when I don't have it with me. Until today... (heh heh) CAUGHT! Just had to share.

I wish the fade-up color of these flames would come out in the camera... Two-tone dash painted to match it.

Maybe the elusiveness of it just adds to why I like it so much. Or, it could be 'cause it looks so damn clean. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
So: do any of you have - or have had - a vehicular Moby Dick, often trying to catch up with it for a closer look? Did ya get it on camera finally?

Humbolt,
They made two things homely in 1954, The Porknbeaner and the grill on a '54 F 100. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Nice ride, I like the way it sits, have you met the owner?
The flames are pearl, right?
Meet the guy and get us some more info, hell meet him and get him to post an INTRO.
How's your F-Truck comming?

I KNEW this post had potential. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've met the owner only as far as complimenting him as he crawled by in the parking lot (I was on foot). Left a note, yesterday, with my email address. If I get his, I'll send Tim's photochop to him. Always trying to meet Northcoast rodders, see what haps or groups they're involved in. Saw a Bucket T-style Buick in a parade, Saturday, had a plaque for the Pharoahs, not sure if that (and his jacket) is just a A.G. thing or if it's group around here (or both).
'54 grille on a '53 (plate reads "Nicks53)(I cheated http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif )(or DOES it say '54, can't remember). Will try to get more shots of it.
