Who's coming?

Anyone going to the Lokar kick off Thursday? I'm three miles from Lokar. I have some locals coming over to check out the RPU after Lokar. Any HAMBers in town are welcome too.

Travel safe and watch the I-40 construction zones west of downtown. They are serious about the 45mph speed limit.

I'm going. With or without the roadster. Supposed to be storms here to N'Ville Friday and Saturday.

I'll be their with some of them Greayz Hubcapz. I think were going to invade your pad after Lokar, so hide your beer and lock up your tool box.

Tudor, you mean “Cedar Bluff”? If so, there are lots of hotels at that exit (exit 378 if I’m not mistaken). Cedar Bluff is west Knoxville – about 15 easy miles from Chilhowee Park.

Rat Rod, there is a swap meet at the north end of the park (end closest to the interstate). It is in the covered pavilions. The Greasy Hubcaps usually park between the duck pond and swap meet. You’ll know them when you see them. When that bunch gets together it ain’t pretty. Something usually gets broken.

I am planning on coming if I can borrow some GOLD CHAINS ...

I do not have any....

In all fairness, I enjoy Nats South. There are enough vechicles to suit just about any taste or style. There are WAY too many BlingBling, not really an old car, Trailer queen creations for me but there are lots of decent home built rides to enjoy also. I can appreciate the work going into just about any car that is driven there.I will be in the 32 or most likely the 40 Ford coupe.

The swap meet is always entertaining.

I wish I could be there, but, I have too many other plans for the summer to take the time off. My dad and some of his minions will be there, make sure if you see him driving his Buick, you go up and give him some shit for me! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Here is a pic of his Buick, you cant miss the car, its pretty smooth looking. He decided to drive it down to try to sell it. Have fun -Joe

The Mouse's Ear should be renamed the Mouse's Dirty Ass. Th'Katch is much cleaner. Don't matter for me either way though - I'm babysitting two 4 year olds all weekend.

Harrison - yup - cedar bluff. woops

Where is the place to go for dinner and decent hangouts on Saturday night?

Lots of food at Cedar Bluff and on Kingston Pike (runs parallel to I-40).

Hang outs? We have no Continental Club for sure - or anything close. Go to the mall or movie. Better yet, come to my house and check out the RPU and help watch the two 4 year olds.

I'll be at the show on Saturday AM. The rest of the weekend will be spent in the garage. If anyone gets lost, breaks, or wants to stop by while in town call me at 865-719-9919.
