Over the weekend I scored Five '53 Olds Fiesta Hubcaps for next to nothin'. (hell yea!) Two have been modified to have 6 blades instead of the stock 3 but they must of robbed them from the remainin' three because they're all missing.
Anybody seen these blades/flippers for Olds Fiesta hubcaps any place besides Night Prowlers, $9 each seems a bit steep.

Damn! Nice score...
Are any of those '53's the heavier metal caps that are chromed plated, not the stainless steel? I'm looking for one of those as the stainless doesn't fit over my hub on my Kaiser. I'll trade you for a stainless one in perfect condition... doesn't do me any good if it doesn't fit...

Looks like all of 'em are SS.
You might try, if you are so brave.
One of the two I have with the six blades, the original mounting tabs of the hubcap has been trimmed away and welded to a diff tab ring to fit some unknown wheel (not a 15"). Who ever did it did an all right job, not too pretty from the back but you can't tell from the front, guess that's all that counts.

Nice looking cap. I bought a bunch of extra flippers from Hot Rods of Norco several years ago to do the same thing.
Give Hot Rod's a call...ask for Chris.

Yea, I all ways thought they were some of the best lookin' caps just not enought to pay what everybody has been askin' for 'em.
John,
thanx for the link, you remember what you payed for 'em?
Night Prowler has them for $9 each but to finish of the last pair it would run $9 * 12 = $108 just for the flippers, ouch!

sell the extras you got in the deal and use the money to pay for your blades to finish the others. blades do come up on ebay now and then too. you should be able to get enough out of the extras to pay for a good part of doing this. ebay my friend can sometimes be a good thing. shaving the emblems off the plymouth i just threw 'em in a box as they were trash to me figured i'd ebay 'em and get a coupla bucks each one day. well a set sold in same condition as mine today for well over $100. wtf. needless to say i get off work early tommorrow and will be listing some stuff on ebay before heading out to the shop. i have needed to do tis for a while to help raise some cash to finish this car and this has gotten me off my ass big time...ken....

Thanx for the input Lucky.
E-Bay never ceases to amaze me as to what somebody can sell or buy on there, I may just put what I have left over on there.
