Greetings all!

Hello everyone i am alden and my friend keith (slo60) is always talking about this board. After looking around i decided to join. I don't own anything old, but i dream about it. I drive a 93 volvo 960 with close to 200k miles on it, that i paid $1 for. I had never really had much experience wrenching on cars before this one and have been learning more by fixing this one (biggest project to date is changing the timing belt).

I am amazed by the amount of knowledge on this board and will contribute what i can.

Edit: I should add, i am a computer guy as well, thats really my strong point, but cars are much more fun to work on. Plus they sound cooler. I am right now working on painting up a computer case in flat black with white and red accents to give it kinda a tradition hotrod look. Any suggestions on that are welcome

Welcome to the board. I build computers to but old cars and trucks get in your blood. building computers is a mind thing. Save your money and buy youself an old car much more gratifying. RUSTY

I have been looking at getting another 960 engine and trying to get a turbo set up on it. Then i'd love to find an old volvo body to put it in.
