I was searching for a few pics for Dat Dirty Rat on my discs, and came across these.
I forgot i saved them.

These are from the early 60's right after the two original builders finished it.
I have become friends with both of them, and have talked and hung out a few times.
Both are TRUE hot rodders in every sence.
One of them sent me every photo they ever took of it so i could copy them to disc.
He wanted them back, and that was just fine by me..it was great just seeing them in the first place! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyway, I just thought some of you might enjoy them.

Tony.

I'm the same way.I spent HOURS looking at the real photo's when i got em.
It was unreal to me to see the pics, and look in front of me at the truck itself!

I have a lot more, but there not sized..
These were the only ones i had done already.
At some point i'll do the rest of them and post more at a later date.

Tony, those pics are a treasure for damn sure. I would certainly like to have pics of my '40 from back in the day. What am I talking about, I do have those pics as I have had it since '61! Jaysus, that's a long time. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Incidentally, where did your truck come from?

John, the truck is from Olean NY.

I honestly thought about tearing it apart and putting it back the way it looks in those pics.
But i really dig it now, so it'll stay the way it is..at least for a while anyway.

I've thought about it to myself, but never said anything about it or posted it.
Right now i have way to much fun with it, so it'll probably be around for quite some time..
I have a lot of plans for it once i finish the junk i already have layin around..

Rob, thanks for lightening the pics!! they came out great. I'm gonna save em too.

Tony..
