4bbl to 2 2bbl adapter

Does anyone know where to get an adapter to change a 4bbl intake manifold into 2 2bbl carbs? Vintagespeed.com has them but I have heard some unsavory things about them from around the campfire. jessealan@hotmail.com

Hit up Kragen's or Chuck's. Spectre makes all that stuff. I jsut saw the adapter the other day, it's like 20 bucks.

I'm working on a mopar 273 with 318 heads and an offenhauser 4bbl intake. It's from a 1965 dart.

Yes, I don't like how great my car runs right now, so that is why I opted for the two 2's. I'm glad that you realized that. It shows me what a caring individual you are.

Yeah I can understand asthetics but you already made the wise choice of using 318 heads to aleviate the intake bolt angle issue and get more breath, so why do you want to cut that back down with 2 2bbls? A carter AFB would really work well and is easy to find and rebuild. On your Offy intake is it WCFB or later pattern?
