I had a great time at GOODGUYS. I went not really looking forward to it. I haven't enjoyed a GOODGUYS for about 5 years. I quit going to Pleasanton about 3 years ago. Went to the first Kansas one last year, the weather sucked on Sat. the day I went, I came home saying I wouldn't go back. Well I went back this year. I was a spectator. I planned on driving my roadster, but I had to take my wife and her mother to KCI airport. Can't put two females and all there luggage in a "T" roadster. Parking was free, what a surprise. $15.00 to walk in. $5.00 hamburgers, $3.00 fries, and $3.50 for a soda pop. Planned on meeting my friend there around noon. He didn't make it until 2pm. Little league or something. He had to pay $75.00 to bring his car in for one day. Amounted to about 4 hours for him. I give Gary Meadors credit, he found a way to make himself rich. I went expecting to see just a handfull of cars that I like. Well they were eveywhere. Whitewalls, steel wheels, black paint with flames. It's scary, we've become the next big thing. Lots of big dollar stuff made to look old. Oh well, what ya gonna do. I filled up my digital camera with pictures. Here's a few of my favorites.
