The 48 is done

Well just about. I have new tires for it and have to get them changed but otherwise it's ready to roll again.

Decided not to put the scallops and the So What back on for now. Might put it on for next year. Right now I like the plain blue.

Wow what a difference. Looks great! What color blue is that?

It's electric blue with the flex and flat clear over it.

I love bullet/spider caps but the wheels are dual pattern so it wouldn't look right. I've got a pair of cool caps for one side.

That style of blue is nearly identical to that 36 that I love. I like it even more on the truck. Looks awesome and I don't blame you for not running it with the logos for a bit.

Django...The flex is for a flex additive for plastic bumpers. PPG makes a clear they call flex and flat for bumpers. It works great for this. The paint store couldn't understand why I wanted to put a flat clear on the whole truck.

57...The paint itself is Omni (PPG's cheap line) wich is electric blue off of the new Chryslers. It is top coated with PPG's flex and flat clear.

PPG, Omni flex and flat clear...got it. That just may be the answer to my problem with goat-hoof scratches all over my peeling base coat/clear coat black pontiac. I see a scuff and shoot in my future. Looks killer!
