BILLETPROOF Detroit panel jam??? Who's doing it??

It looks like the Detroit guys thought I was taking care of organizing the panel jam and I thought they were. Is someone who is going willing to set it up? Just tell us what you need as far as space, tables and chairs go and we'll supply them. But somebody needs to be the point person on the thing. I can't because I'm too far away. The guys doing the show are too slammed to take on another job. Let me know. Thanks!

He did see the post, maybe he's got too much on his plate and really doesn't have the time to devote. I'll be seeing him at a large local show on Sunday and I'll see if he's interested. I can help him out with it but since I have no experience with such an event I don't want the responsiblities.

Kirk, FYI since this has your attention, one of the Poor Boys said he would mail out flyers to me over a month ago. Never got them. A week ago last Thursday, Boomer's assistant at the bike shop called me and I mentioned that I need flyers for a couple of upcoming shows that I'm attending. Haven't received them yet and one show is this Sunday, a large one I might add, with over 500 cars in a local park. Sure would be nice to have flyers to promote BilletProof Detroit. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I'm certainly not going to keep asking for them. All we need is to know what we should supply for the panel jam. I don't think it needs to be babysat or anything. We just want to have the facility ready for it to happen. Interested artists would just do their thing when they get there I would guess.

Denise: As far as the flyers go, I know they are almost out. Of course that doesn't mean they shouldn't copy some more of the black and white ones and get some to you. I'll see what I can do to get some to you. This is the hard part about not being geographically close. As past associates can attest, I am SUPER anal about info getting out. To a fault. But they are in charge of distribution out there. Of course it is in their best interest to get as many people interested as possible. Some out here would argue that but it's a fact. I'm very appreciative of your and everyone else's help with the Detroit show.

I was basicly talking about the black and white ones to pass out in folks cars just to get lots of car people walking thru the gate. I have plenty of the colored cards to personaly hand out to those owners who's ride fits the bill.

Actually what I'll do is come into work early tomorrow before the ofice manager "witch" gets here and I'll have the opportunity to make a couple hundred copies.
