Those of you that remember the post about the moral dilemma of leaving an Offy 2X1 set up that may or may not have been discarded may be interested in knowing that honesty pays.

Two weeks ago I posted that a neighbor of my mothers gave me a 26 dodge body.

Today a friend of mine who owns a pawn shop called. An old Peavy lead guitar amp that he had been trying to sell for me for over two years sold today for $250. I would have taken $100. He wouldn't even let me pay him a commission.

Can't wait to see what happens next. Of course my new moral dilemma is do I tell my wife I have an extra $250? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

George, my wife is my best friend.
Still, there are things I do not tell her.
Ben Franklin said a man that tells his wife everything, does not know much.
