Sorta O/T - Vintage Air Conditioner?

I just signed a lease on a place here in Waco...old farm house on 2 acres, built in 1945...it's cheap and has lots of parking, privacy, and a good carport/garage/workshop.

It still uses window unit air conditioners...and this is whats in the kitchen...

Anyone know anything about this old fucker? Could it be worth anything?

HAHAHA...check out the Stove & Oven....could possibly use the trim for dash trim....haha.

Maybe I can hold some HAMB gatherings here...plenty of parking...no neighbors to bother with our loud cars , loud music or loud mouths...just a 90 or so mile drive for Austinites or DFW area HAMBers....

my dad installed one of those Vornados in the playhouse he built me when I was a kid. I was the only kid I knew that had a playhouse with electricity, a/c, telephone, and cable tv. No potty though...

Speaking of potties, I'm embarassed to say this but its funny as hell so here goes. My dad's barn he built doesn't have a potty either, and he got tired of going into the house to pee, so he cut a hole in the wall and intstalled a funnel with a hose that runs to the outside (don't worry, its back in the woods!)... seems he's to shy to just pee on a tree! HAHA...We have a pee-hole at our workshop at the farm too...but it's only temporary til the bathroom gets installed.

Deyo...The landlord said he'd pay for new appliances if we weren't happy with what it's got...as long as they were affordable and we installed them.... I'm thinking of painting & striping the stove & oven...the VORNADO will come out regardless....cause it don't work...and the Texas summer will soon be upon us.

Vornado still makes fans. Their art deco style 1940's models are collected, and I have sold a mess of them on eBay. Your dual fan Vornado in-window unit is not as sought after as their round sheetmetal fans, but could bring between 20 and 40 bucks on ebay.
