I just scored the two hood side panels for my 34 Ford 3W but I am still in need of the top pieces. I have been told that Rootlieb is the best manufacturer of aftermarket of steel hoods...can anyone refer a distributor for Rootlieb? Thanks...

Thanks for the mention, but I'm not a Rootlieb dealer yet. (As I recall, their buy-in is around $3,000.) Once our assembled bodies are in full production, then Rootlieb is one of the companies that I intend on becoming a dealer for. Some very neat things are in the works. As they actually become reality, I'll mention them on here, but not until then. Thanks again.

Dont waste your money on a Rootleib 3 piece! The stock style 4 piece hoods are just fine.

Don't know about best price, but I ordered hood sides for a `35 chevy and they matched the stock hood tops perfect.

He's tough to deal with. I buy 6-8 32 hoods a year and at Louyville I bought several hoods and asked about a discount' ? He didn't flinch.

If you haven't already found a hood top, let me know, as we are a Dealer for Rootlieb and do a lot of work with them on hoods for Speed33 builds as either a 33 or 34.
