Thought I would share a couple pics of a 33 sedan we are just about finished with, we built this for a good friend of mine, it started as a basket case right hand drive car. The motor is a 56 272 y-block, early t-10 box and a quickcahnge rear, still need to chrome the shocks. Got lucky finding the blower intake and cragar drive. More coming soon.

That is too cool. Did you do any beefing up to the Ol' Y block?

Now that is the way y blocks ought to look!! Carbs look to be early Carter WCFBs, like was used on the 56 thru 61 SBCs with the factory dual four set up, but with converted smaller bolt pattern base plates. I did a set like this and used Buick V8 base plates to achieve the throttle start feature and put them on my 331 Cad dual four manifold w/ stock air cleaner. Then I found my S.CO.T and put it on. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Davey

The motor has ross pistons and a 57 supercharger cam, balanced and pretty much stock rebuild other then that, We didn't boost it to much but it still runs pretty strong.

Stay tuned.....I'm putting a '57 272 with a similar early Falcon T-10 in my '48 Tudor.
