Has it been considered to seperate "Parts For Sale" and "Vehicles For Sale" from "For Sale"?
It it diffacult to read down through the many many posts to review, when i may just be looking for a vehicle.
Also, can these "For Sale" postes be moved to Archive (or other Forum after they are Sold?, again to aid in reviewing current items?
Thanks for the great resource...

Actually, if you filter or search on the For Sale area you can probably accomplish the same thing. In fact, you might be able to do that and combine it with the RSS feed and have all the latest/greatest items streaming into your web browser so you can see them at a moment's notice. (I have a link to the RSS feed, but currently showing all items for sale.)

You question is two part...
Part 1.
It has been considered but we decided that it would just create more work for the Mods in that we would have yet another forum to look after as it would introduce debate as to what can and can't go in there which would lead to more rules. This place is free so we'll let you all do the extra work of cruising for what you're after.
Part 2...
Again, more work. And the harder part with this one is that things are often sold and then the deal falls through. Currently a seller can just bring the ad back to the top. If we archive it they woun't be able to do that. So then they would have to start another ad. If they did the first one right then they spent some time on it and probably would not enjoy doing it again. Plus it could cause confusion for those who were watching the first ad and then we get the chatter that is KILLING the classifieds section already. Also we are storing double posts at this point. The classsified section does purge old posts periodically.

not only that... what would be considered a "whole vehicle"? There's another can of worms... drivers only, or just real close? How close? How about everything but engine/tranny... does that count?
Yeah... big assed can o' worms.
Yer thinkin though!
