A friend of mine in the old country owns this car.It was originally butchered by Dick Dean,Lots and lots of bondo!!!.Since buying the car Tony has had all the bodywork redone(They took a 55 gallon drum full of bondo out of the car.It is now all metalfinished with all work done by Colin Jacka,It cost Tony an arm and a leg,but you get what you pay for.It sits on a 70,s Cad frame and is chopped 4,channelled 5 and sectioned 2.Runs a LS7 big block.Underside of the hood and decklid are skinned in handrolled aluminum and the headliner is polished aluminum as well.
I was back in Australia in February and Tony and I where riding around the Cad,rides like a new car and goes like shit.I took some more photos so as soon as I can scan them I,ll post them.
Also,you should see the channelled 40 convert he is building now,extended rear fenders,fadeaways,etc,etc.

aussiesteve, I spent an afternoon ridin around in that Cad, has some killer metal work, headliner, door jambs and under the hood. Was at the rod run in Brite. Had a good time with them guys.......OLDBEET

Yes,it was built for Billy Gibbons.Dick Dean says bondo is OK,Fine,but not when it is 1/2 inch thick!!.
The Cad is pale blue primer at the moment,Tony is still figuring out what colour to paint it.He wants something classy.
