Found this gas pedal at a swap meet today. Picked it up for 10 bucks. I bought it for the coupe because it has no real gas pedal. Just the beginings of a spoon pedal.. actually, its just a stem. It also has a thinner shape than any I've ever seen, and the name "TIFFANY" doesn't ring any bells. Anyone know anything about the Tiffany company?
I also got two 15" Moon discs for five bucks, and two cool trophies. One is Bake-O-Lite and has a heavy midget car (No..not Lullabell's car!) on top. The other is a bike trophy that has "Pagoda Run" on it. I think its from Reading PA where they have an SCCA run up a windy path to a Pagoda every year.
So... about that gas pedal...Anyone? Bueller?

I don't think so. It has all the mounting brackets and holes to be mounted to the floor. Its sprung as well.

I don't think Tiffany is a car maker. Not American, anyway.
Maybe a sewing machine?
It's cool, whatever it is...

Just looked closer at the bottom. Looks to be stamped "Made In USA". Looks like the old block style stamps too..

Cool at any rate---use it! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Not nearly as dorky as the one I got in Louisville---it says "pedal" on it http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I've got one of those. IIRC, there is one of those in my '37 Pep Boys catalog. It was an aftermarket pedal to go over the old Ford spoon pedal.
I've also got a couple of cool old kick drum pedals; a Pearl "SPEED PEDAL", and a Ludwig "SPEED KING" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I would think, sewing machine as well. I have a sewing machine pedal in my F-1 with a big 8 cast into the heal. No name but works great and looks cool.

I have one similar to it. Mine is a National, I think. The hinge on mine fits the toe board to floor board angle perfectly when it's lined up with the stock spoon. There are no provisions for any linkage that a sewing machine would need. Mine has to be an auto accessory. I love old trinkets nice find!
