Are they BOTH filling up?
If it was one or the other I'd say it was the float, but if they are BOTh doing it it is probably something else...
There is a CHANCE that both of the floats are set wrong or the needles are both sticking, but it would be odd if they were both doing it...
Are you carbs set up to run them as duals?
Only running choke on one of them???
Does it run fine and only overflow when you turn the car off?

do you have a fuel pressure regulator on the set up? I know you shouldnt need one with a stock fuel pump, but these suckers dont like more than 2 2.1/2 psi but I guess you know that. I have had BRAND NEW needle and seats stick, a bit of emmery paper to fix it so it slides does help.

There a fun carb!

Yes, check that pressure. I have heard of new and rebuilt pumps for flatheads putting out WAY too much pressure because the builders used a spring for a late model application. I think Carter may have been the guilty party. Pressure is determined by the big spring under the diaphragm, and most are about the same physical size so many interchanges are possible--almost all of them higher pressure than a flathead pump.

[/ QUOTE ] Iam pretty sure it was just the rear carb that was flooding.
yes iam running them as duals...
both have the chokes in them but i dont use them...?should i?
yeah i think it only is over flowing when i shut them off. I didnt have time to check today.. but i had other setups with electric pumps that would overflow at stop lights..that was a preasure problem...but this setup is a turn key from CP at vintage speed.. (the guys cool but busy and hard to get a hold of sometimes)
maybe the needle but that pumps been around a while i might rebuild that thing for some peace of mind..
guess i am just wondering if anyone ran it to something else with these things overflowing..lmk and thanks everyone..
