Hi
I`m on my 3rd post already. Came here for a rim reversal thread.
My project is a dragcar 73 Datsun 240z, 400 sbc, full cage and tube frontend, wheelwell headers, soilid rear and NOS.
Yea I know it`s not HAMB`s cup off tea, in fact I have a buddy here in DE that builds street rods and have had a few in some magizines, and he can`t understand why I would want to play with a Japaneese sports car.
Simple awnser.....it`s different,cool and I like it!!!:D That`s why we do what we do:cool:
I also have a 68 nova, guess you would have guessed by the screen name. I`ve owned it for 20yrs now, but after 20 years you start to want something else to play with. I thought about racing the Nova again but the 240z is just too much fun to drive and everyone and thier grandmother has a 68-72 nova racing down the track.
The Nova will see the street this year though after 3.5 years relaxation, with it`s 396 and super T-10 4 speed and soon to be 8.8 rear w/3:73`s
Looking forward to this year! A track car and a street car...can life get any better than this!
