"views" #s on main board?

Are the number of views for a thread on the main board unique user hits or just hits?

I'm curious about this as well. Just searched and see that this was never answered. The million view Drag Cars in motion post got me thinking about it.

Those are views by registered users only... They are not unique in that if you are registered and view it twice, it counts twice. Hang on a bit and I'll see if I can find actual numbers just for that thread...

Ok, here are the actual stats for that thread from Google Analytics:

Page views (added up all of the pages of the thread): 6,908,203
Unique visitors (again, added up all of the pages of the thread): 813,231

About 40% of the traffic on that thread comes from Google.
