Which of the "HEMI's" are the rare one's? There is a 392 balanced and blueprinted in an auction this weekend and was wondering about what it would be worth. Here is a link to the auction. (http://www.annesauctions.com/realestateauctions.asp?ProductID=-1&CategoryID=366)

The 392 was the one the top fuel guys wanted. I would just about bet it'll go high, if its in good shape better mortgage the house. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That was slick how they sandwiched it in with the tractor stuff. Good eye friend.
Maybe it'll go for a couple grand if no one else noticed it.

i paid 1700 for a 331 being sold by blownolds... but it had some nice speed stuff on it.

porkNBEANS is right... those 392's fetch a pretty penny.

Sodbuster dont be shy or get scared away just cause its a 392.The last std bore block I got I paid 40 bucks for it. Granted thats a rare price.Ive got 5 of em and a ton of parts, throughout the past 5-7 yrs. If you really want one you will find em without breaking the bank. Personally I wouldnt pay more than 1,200 for a complete core.Look on the top of the block where the valley cover is see if it has a A-1 cast in it they are the ones to get.---FEDER

SOLD: $1500 dollars complete w/heads. I bid it to $800 but had to back off since we are buying a house at the end of May. The stock pistons and Carter AFB's sold for $27 to the same guy. And the tranny for it sold for $2 dollars along with the other tranny's sitting around it. If I only had the space and all of my coin was not going into this house, I would have bought alot more.

Oh yea, I did meet a guy who used to be friends with the owner of the stuff who has a few Model A's an some Model B motors. And he has a 29' Sedan forsale, I told him that I would call him back in a couple of weeks.
