I went to see what new foolishness our own Switchblade Teeth is bringing to our world earlier on today. It WAS a nice day so I thought I'd take the choppa for a spin. On my way home, all of a sudden, the skies opened up and it poured. I said to hell with this and pulled over at a gas station, got $1.50 of 93 octane, some Planter's Spicy Hot P-Nuts and a Diet Dr.Pepper. It eventually stopped raining but the roads were still wet. So I thought I'll go on ever so slowly. No front fender means you get a rooster tail of hot water right in your ugly mug.
I was going home via the Aloma curves in Winter Park, these are nasty sons of a bitches even in the dry. Anyways I'm looking at the road surface and it appears as if there's soapy water everywhere and I get scared. I have no clue what this stuff was.
I was almost through the bends when I was slowing down for the lights and the bike just started fishtailing. I got her under control but I was friggin scared man.
I was so happy to be alive that when I finally hit dry non soapy road I let her rip.
