Howza Bruthas,
Recently went snooping and found the remains of some interesting things. Amongst them was a Modlel AA truck, a Model A cowl section in decent shape and a Model A complete hood(which are now in my greasy hands) a '50 Ford F-5 with the 8 in it still, and a '35 Ford truck cab. Along with the cab is the front fenders, doors, the hood and hood sides. All of this stuff is slowly being hauled off and scrapped a neighbor there told me. Being the resourceful guy I is, I started hunting and gathering. The cab could use some help, looks like someone did the fandango on the rough some time ago, but it has no rust. So is it worth grabbing?

Define "fandango on the roof" if you can. They ripped out the top insert, or what?

If it's free, grab it.

Basically the roof is dented in. Looks like it could be popped out easy enough.

I would definately grab it, if I were you, particularly given that it has fenders and a hood. Frames are not that difficult to find, since you can use a '35 all the way up to'40. If the cab is from a very large truck, the front fenders may be too big for a half-ton pickup, but I'd still get it if i had a place out of sight to work on it, or to store it until you can gather up the other parts you need. In my opinion the '35 Ford pickup has the best lines of the 35 through 37 Ford pickup line becuse of the thinner grill , etc. Finding the 35 grills is becoming tougher these days, but if you cant find one, you can use the '36, which is also pretty nice. Go for it!

Alright, I will probably grab it. I will also be brigning home a set of Model A front fenders too. On a side note, the bastards who were clearing out the bramble bushes around the area smashed a '60 Ford cab with the chrome grille and crushed a '40 Ford cab. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif Can't beleive they are so stupid!!
I posted this so I would get a reply from the best in the know out there... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
