Well.... it wasn't in a dumpster, but pretty close.
I was down at the dump throwing away some branches and leaves with a friend of mine, and once we were finished, we decided to go pick around in the scrap metal area to see if we could find anything worthwhile.
So I go over there, and I spot what looked like a generator on wheels... and it turned out to be this Buick V6 powered water pump/ generator, with this awesome Stewart Warner Gauge Pannel. The motor and pump were toast, and it looked like it had been sitting for a while, but the gauges seemed pretty good.
So I went and asked the foreman if I could go cut it off of there, and he said sure. So thats just what I did. Pretty fucking cool I think. So I got a complete set of gauges, a six cylinder tach, and the second set is only missing the other fuel gauge. The incomplete set wasn't hooked up, so I dont get that. But yeah... here's my bounty.

Is there any way to change that tach to an eight cylinder? I kind of dig it.
