Hello All,
I grew up around drag racing with my father, however when I was 16 my dad sold all his cars, and all of his dreams to supprt our family. So after 15 years of dreaming my father in law and I are gathering parts to build four rat rods. Right now my fahter in law has his ride almost completly ready to mock up. Its a 38 international cab with a 572 Caddy and 10 bolt chevy rear end. I will post pictures in the future as soon as i get a new camera.

Thanks all,
J

I guess a rat rod would be considered a non traditional hot-rod

No one has mentioned it yet but we have a longstanding, very active member here who goes by the name of FltBlk. You might want to change yours before things get confusing.

Welcome to the HAMB:cool:

I have changed my name to my fledgling design company. I am not here to confuse anyone or step on anyones toes. I am here to learn about the art, the mechanics, and the people of old school hot-rodding. So with that said I will have numerous questions in the future.

thanks guys

Welcome aboard HellCat to H.A.M.B.
To me they are just Hot Rods because that's what we called them in the fifties before billet and tweed.

No nash or a vega. Just a motor and some front end parts right now..
I live in a small town about 40 miles west of Nashville.
