Deleteing Old Post

There are some old posts and threads I would like to delete, how do I do that?
One of my old posts is marked, closed. Why? That is one I would like to close.
I would like to thank every one that makes this site work. It is the greatest thing since peanut butter. Bob

Users cannot delete posts as it can cause confusion.

I assume you're talking about your wanted ad for a welder? I see that you are the one who closed it.

Do you not need one anymore?

Usually we just have people respond to their own ad saying they are no longer need or are no longer selling the item.

All these items can be deleted. Thank to HAMB'ers I found what I needed. Bob
